Volunteers range in age from high school students to seniors. Most assignments are at (704) 896-0471.

Schedule
Volunteers' hours are flexible and can be tailored to the needs of the volunteer.

Here at The Ada Jenkins Center, we utilize over 750 unduplicated volunteers a year, who provide more than 20,000 hours of service to smoothly and effectively run our programs on behalf of the clients we serve.

The majority of our volunteers commit to a regular schedule of volunteering within a particular program. This year alone volunteers have helped The Ada Jenkins Center feed more than 15,000 individuals through our Loaves and Fishes food pantry, serve over 1,500 patients in our Free Clinic of Our Towns, provide dental service to over 1,100 clients via our Community Dental clinic, assist more than 1,600 clients through our Latino Support Services, and help hundreds of additional clients through The Ada Jenkins Center's many other programs.
