YOUTH EDUCATION – LEARN Works

The LEARN Works program is Ada Jenkins Center’s oldest program. Operating for more than 15 years, LEARN Works is a well-respected, positive and productive program for local elementary and middle school students with academic needs. Our students attend Davidson Elementary, Cornelius Elementary and Bailey Middle Schools.

The purpose of the LEARN Works program is to partner with families, schools, and volunteers to support the academic progress of our students and to advance family engagement. We also provide enrichment activities that many could not otherwise afford.

Students are referred to our program by a school teacher or administrator. Program fees are $50 per child each year. However, no child is turned away due to inability to pay.

ADULT EDUCATION

The Ada Jenkins Center is a community site for GED/High School Equivalency and ESL classes. We have both morning and evening classes.  Classes are held in the fall and winter. Please complete the inquiry form below for more information.
