Tutor

Monday - Thursday from 2:45 to 5:45 pm

Provide academic guidance to students during homework and academic skill building time; Be supportive, encouraging and firm with tutee; Communicate with classroom coordinator and program director; Participate in an evaluation process for students and program; Help classroom coordinator with daily tasks; Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions; Attend and participate in all orientation and training sessions; Be prompt for all tutoring and training sessions; Come dressed and groomed appropriately Qualifications: Patience, love for children; Ability to explain subject matters in an age-appropriate fashion; Dependability; Respect for confidential nature of student information; Background check may be required.
