The Senior Nutrition Center provides a way for older adults to enjoy fun, fellowship, and a delicious lunch in one place. Congregate meals are served in the afternoon every weekday and are preceded by a variety of activities and programs for everyone. When needed, transportation is available on a limited basis to bring seniors into one of the sites.
Anyone living in Mecklenburg County who is over the age of 60 may participate in the Senior Nutrition Program. Each service has specific criteria and may vary, but there is something available for every senior citizen. For more specific information, please call our offices at (704) 335-2400 or contact the coordinator directly in person or at the above number.
